About this coloring page
This educational coloring sheet features a large, bold uppercase letter X alongside a cheerful cartoon Santa Claus holding a toy sack. The drawing is designed with thick, clean outlines and wide open spaces, making it perfect for toddlers and preschoolers who are just learning to color within the lines. Below the illustration, the phrase X is for Xmas is written in a hollow font that children can also color in. This page is an ideal resource for teachers and parents looking for a festive way to introduce the alphabet during the holiday season. The simple style ensures a frustration-free experience for young artists developing their fine motor skills.
How to color this page
- Use a bright red crayon for Santa's suit and hat to make him look traditional.
- Leave the beard and the trim of the hat white, or use a light blue pencil for subtle shading.
- Encourage children to use a different vibrant color for the large letter X to help it stand out.
- Try using gold or yellow glitter glue on Santa's belt buckle for a festive, shiny touch.
Who is this page for?
This printable coloring page is made for the Easy Peasy age group. Younger children can color the large shapes first and add the small details later — there is no wrong way to color it.
What you need
A printer, a sheet of A4 or US Letter paper and your favourite crayons, coloured pencils or markers. Thicker paper (120 gsm or more) works best with felt tip pens so the colours do not bleed through.
