About this coloring page
This educational coloring page features a large, bold uppercase letter T positioned next to a cheerful cartoon steam engine. The train has a friendly smiling face, a puff of smoke coming from its chimney, and clearly defined wheels and windows. The illustration uses thick, clean black outlines that are easy for young children to stay within, and it includes the phrase T is for Train at the bottom. This page is ideal for toddlers and preschoolers practicing letter recognition and fine motor skills during alphabet lessons or quiet time at school.
How to color this page
- Use a bright red or blue for the train body to make the friendly character stand out.
- Color the smoke puff with a light grey or leave it white to contrast with the sky.
- Try using a different bright color for each individual letter in the sentence at the bottom.
- Use thick crayons or markers to easily fill in the large space inside the uppercase letter T.
Who is this page for?
This printable coloring page is made for the Easy Peasy age group. Younger children can color the large shapes first and add the small details later — there is no wrong way to color it.
What you need
A printer, a sheet of A4 or US Letter paper and your favourite crayons, coloured pencils or markers. Thicker paper (120 gsm or more) works best with felt tip pens so the colours do not bleed through.
