About this coloring page
This festive fall illustration features four happy, friendly ghosts floating around a spooky landscape complete with a haunted mansion, a full moon, and twinkling stars. The drawing includes classic autumn and Halloween elements like a grinning jack-o'-lantern, a spooky leafless tree, and a lonely tombstone by a winding path. Created with bold, clean black outlines and large open spaces, this page is ideal for young artists developing their fine motor skills. It is an excellent choice for a classroom activity or a quiet afternoon at home during the October season. Children will enjoy bringing the night sky to life with deep blues or purples while keeping the cheerful ghosts bright white.
How to color this page
- Use a yellow or light orange crayon for the glowing moon and stars to make them pop against the sky.
- Try using a white oil pastel or wax crayon on the ghosts before coloring the background to keep them perfectly white.
- Mix different shades of gray and brown for the haunted house and the spooky tree to add depth to the scene.
- Brighten up the jack-o'-lanterns with a vibrant orange to create a focal point in the bottom corner.
Who is this page for?
This printable coloring page is made for the Happy Starter age group. Younger children can color the large shapes first and add the small details later — there is no wrong way to color it.
What you need
A printer, a sheet of A4 or US Letter paper and your favourite crayons, coloured pencils or markers. Thicker paper (120 gsm or more) works best with felt tip pens so the colours do not bleed through.
