Under a bright, shining sun, two happy fish swim beneath the water's surface, completing this cheerful nautical scene. The drawing uses thick, bold outlines and large open spaces, making it an ideal choice for young children who are just learning to stay within the lines. It is a fantastic resource for a classroom lesson about transportation or a quiet rainy afternoon activity at home. Parents can also use this simple vehicle illustration as a quick and engaging craft for a summer-themed birthday party.
How to color this page
- Use bright yellow or orange for the sun and its rays to make the page feel warm.
- The thick black lines are perfect for chunky crayons or washable markers which help toddlers succeed.
- Try coloring each stripe on the sail with a different vibrant color to create a rainbow effect.
- Use a light blue for the sky and a darker blue for the wavy water to show the difference between them.
Who is this page for?
This printable coloring page is made for the Easy Peasy age group. Younger children can color the large shapes first and add the small details later — there is no wrong way to color it.
What you need
A printer, a sheet of A4 or US Letter paper and your favourite crayons, coloured pencils or markers. Thicker paper (120 gsm or more) works best with felt tip pens so the colours do not bleed through.
