About this coloring page
This adorable coloring sheet features a friendly girl firefighter waving from the driver's seat of a detailed fire engine. The scene is set in front of a fire station under a bright sun, complete with a ladder, hose, and fluffy clouds. The thick, bold outlines make it easy for toddlers and preschoolers to stay within the lines while they explore different colors. It is an excellent choice for a classroom lesson about community helpers or a fun activity for a rainy afternoon at home. Kids will enjoy bringing the fire station and the waving hero to life with their favorite bright shades.
How to color this page
- Use a bright red marker or crayon for the main body of the fire truck to make it stand out.
- Start by coloring the large background elements like the sun and trees before moving to the smaller details on the truck.
- The thick black lines are perfect for using washable markers or broad-tip crayons without smudging.
- Try a light blue or gray for the windows of the fire truck and the station to give them a glass-like appearance.
Who is this page for?
This printable coloring page is made for the Happy Starter age group. Younger children can color the large shapes first and add the small details later — there is no wrong way to color it.
What you need
A printer, a sheet of A4 or US Letter paper and your favourite crayons, coloured pencils or markers. Thicker paper (120 gsm or more) works best with felt tip pens so the colours do not bleed through.
